Day 9 - A day off.


No biking today, instead we had a relaxing day, swimming, reading, nice lunch at the pizzeria next door, sheltering from this afternoon's thunderstorm,....then we gate crashed the 4th annual Stilfserjoch Old Timer Traktor Tour http://stilfserjoch2016.blogspot.it/p/blog-page_41.html

And a big man on a wee scooter with a beer trailer

It was a fairly surreal event with hundreds of Tyrolean farmers gathered in a sort of Wild West Coral, however the beer and food was great with a surprisingly good Tyrolean folk band playing. Another great day.

    I like the farmers, moustachio'd (?) Lederhosen - the real deal. There's a Porsche tractor too. I knew Lambo was a tractor manufacturer though. Looks like a fun day with more big climbs ahead maybe.
